14941Re: [jacksongenealogy] UPDATED: Family of Martha "Mattie" Jane Evans
- Oct 16, 2011Thanks to Clay and Jimmie for the info/revision regarding Delilah, the wife of Jesse Evens/Evans. I was worried that I'd missed an important Precise... :-)
Yes, there are a lot of undocumented trees on the internet pertaining to the Precise family. Although these sometimes provide interesting clues, it's often hard to separate the wheat from the chaff.
By the way, everything I've been able to piece together on the Precise, Womack, Wilbanks/Willbanks, and related families in Jackson County is up at my genealogy website at gen.markabout.com. I include source details to make it easy for you to see what the entries are based on. I'd be interested in any general or specific feedback anyone in this group might have.
Thanks in advance.
