Wakatabe couldn't get any strikes across! He walked the first Dragon of
the game. The next batter popped up an attempted sacrifice bunt up to
Johjima in foul territory behind the batter's box on the third base
side. Two walks later, Tatsunami hit a high blooper that came down
between the shortstop and left and center fielders. Right in the
middle! The runners from second and third came around to score.

On the throw to the plate, the ball got past Johjima who started diving
to make the tag before he got the ball. The ball then hit on-deck
batter Lee - who was far from the on-deck circle. A discussion between
Oh-kantoku and the umpiring crew ensued, ending with the umpire crew
concluding that ball was in play and the two runs scored.

After getting Lee striking out trying to check his swing, Wakatabe
walked his fourth batter of the inning to load the bases again. And he
got out of the inning with a ground ball to short, the toss to second
      ends the inning.

Chunichi this season has been 50 and 13 when they scored first. It
looks like the visiting Dragons have the advantage tonight!
