A student animal rights group offered others the chance to taste vegan food
      in Tate Student Center Plaza.

The Speak out for Species, SOS, a student based animal rights organization
at UGA held their annual Meat Out event Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The
events purpose was to bring awareness to the quality of vegan food and use
this as a means to advocate others to choose a more vegan or vegetarian
      diet.

Were trying to show people that vegan food can be tasty, said Joshua
Foxworth, a junior Econ Major from Dacula and member of SOS. It provides
information for helping people transition to vegan, as well as promoting
      the group and promoting thought.
