New app helps vegetarians find good eats anywhere in Israel
Go Vegan, a new app for iPhones and Androids, helps vegans and
vegetarian find restaurants in their vicinity dishing out animal-free
Hungry, vegan, and have a smartphone in hand? A new app from the
organization Anonymous for Animal Rights has got you covered.
Called Go Vegan, this location-based application tracks the user's
location and finds vegan entrees in restaurants nearby. Developed for
Anonymous by volunteer Yehuda Goldner, Go Vegan maps as many as 2,500
vegan entrees near the user in all sorts of restaurants, including
ones that are not vegetarian or vegan.
“People who want a good meatless meal don’t have to get footsore
anymore looking for a vegetarian or vegan restaurant," Anonymous said
in a statement. "More and more restaurants have entrees for
vegetarians, vegans, partial vegetarians and Meatless Monday
