Cherie Soria, author of several raw food books including "The Raw Food
Revolution Diet," celebrates her 65th birthday May 31. Youthful and
vibrant, she’s been teaching vegetarian cuisine for more than 40 years
and raw vegan cuisine since she founded Living Light Culinary
Institute in 1998. Dubbed by her students the "Mother of Gourmet Raw
Vegan Cuisine," she’s working on a fourth book on gourmet raw vegan
foods, a fourth black belt in karate, and is currently on tour with
her flagship class FUNdamentals of Raw Living Foods in Toronto,
Vancouver, B.C. Seattle and Portland.
