On the face of it, it is a wedding announcement like so many others:

“Jeff C. Milette and Jen W. Moore exchanged wedding vows in an evening
ceremony on June 18, 2010, at their home in Warwick. Rev. Chris
Belanger officiated...The bride is the daughter of Lorraine C. Moore
of West Warwick. The groom is the son of Ron and Evelyn Milette of
      Cumberland.”

Then the location of the ceremony was mentioned.

“It was the first wedding officiated in front of a vegan soft serve
ice cream truck, Like No Udder, owned by Warwick resident Karen
      Krinsky.”

Even a generation ago, you would not expect to see a “vegan” ice cream
company, and the word itself would have conjured up images from an
alien place. It still has an exotic connotation but most people know
by now that a “vegan” is not a person from the planet Vega. It is
widely understood to be a person who eschews products made from any
part of an animal, including meat, leather, milk or eggs.
