In the competitive gourmet and niche food markets, it is getting hard
to be healthier than Los Angles-based Sencha Naturals.

The company of green tea-inspired products announced this week that
all four flavors within its Green Tea Mints and Green Tea Bars line
are now certified vegan and kosher.

Sencha Green Tea BarsNonprofit organization Vegan Action certified
Sencha's line of mints and bars as vegan – meaning they contain no
dairy, eggs, honey, gelatin or any other animal-derived substances.
The company made no changes to the existing products to achieve the
certification, as the products were already plant based. However, the
certification may assure customers of the products' quality.
