Intensive training seminar for translation teachers
11-14 July 2001
The Consortium for Training Translation Teachers is pleased to announce a
four-day intensive training seminar to be held in English.
The seminar is designed for two main groups: professional translators who
want to teach, and teachers seeking to deepen their knowledge of
contemporary translation practices.
The focus is on professional technical translation. The seminar will not
address issues of interpreter training or literary translation.

Contemporary theories of translation and localization
Process models of professional technical translation and terminology
Current research models in translation didactics
Social constructivist approaches to classroom interaction and syllabus design
