      Casino De Paris is easy to find...
      Enter the Shuk HaGruzini (coming from Yaffo towards Agrippas, take teh
      first left from the open shuk or the first right from the covered shuk).
      Once you get into the central courtyard where the Shuk haGruzini is,
      turn back towards the direction of Yaffo street and you will get to
      Casino de Paris at the end.

      Not sure, but I think Ichikidana (the Indian hole in the wall) is
      closing. I saw a For Rent sign there. Did you? Did you talk to them at
      all to find out?

      I was at the souk tonite looking for the Casino de Paris but got sidetracked and had a wonderful dinner including masala dosa made with chickpea and rice flour with the classic potato stuffing, this at the hole in the wall vegetarian Indian resto. The background music was supplied by an oud player in the cafe across the way.

      Then I went hunting for sweet young corn. I can never figure out why the Israelis pluck it when it's too old and about to go from natural sugar to starch. Instead I bought a packet of corn to plant my own.
