      As-Salaam Alaikum,

Cut nails, hairs, trim moustaches before 1st Dhulhaj

Fast on 9 Dhulhaj (Take Women and Children for Idd Prayers on 10 DhulHaj)

For Non Haji who wants to offer sacrifice of an animal

      Works
Non Haji who wants to offer sacrifice of an animal
      Haji
      Cut nails, hairs, trim, moustaches
Before 1st DhulHaj or later on after giving sacrifice 10th to 12th DhulHaj (see below Hadith Muslim book 22 no 4871)
Before wearing ihram or after giving sacrifice on 10th Dhulhaj
      Fast
9th Dhulhaj (see below hadith Muslim book 2 No 2603)
Not to fast on 9th DhulHaj
Stay in Arafat facing Kaaba and
      (1) recite Zikr of Allah
      (2) supplicate as much as you can
Idd day (a) Idd prayers open area / mosque

      (b) Sacrifice an animal
10th Dhulhaj (a) Take women (even menstruating or in monthly periods) and children to Idd prayers place, both men and women give charity  (see below hadith  Bukhari 2/292 and 2/297)

      (b) 10 to 12 Dhulhaj (10th preferred)
For Hajis there is no idd prayers on10th Dhulhaj instead Haji is busy in Rami Jamara, sacrifice animal (for Tamattaw and Qiran haj)Shave head / cut hairs, nails, bathe, go for tawaf ifadah, Saee .. …. Etc.

Hadith (1)Umm Salama reported (these words) directly from Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him): If anyone has in his possession a sacrificial animal to offer as a sacrifice (on 'Id al-Adha), he should not get his hair cut and nails trimmed after he has entered the first days of Dhu'l Hijja(Muslim Book 22 No 4871)

Fasting the day of 'Arafah is a supererogatory act (Nafil / Tatawwo).
Hadith (2) The Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.)has urged people to fast this day. Abu Qataadah narrated that the Prophet Muhammad was asked about observing the fast on the day of 'Arafah, (9th of Dhu'I-Hijja), whereupon he said: It expiates the sins of the preceding year and the coming year. (Muslim Book 6 No 2603) [Narrated by Muslim Book 6 No 2603, Abu Dawood, aI-Nasaa'e and Ibn Maajah animal]
      {Fasting the day of 'Arafah is only for those who are not performing Hajj.}

Prophet's(S.A.W.) orders to take both women and young children to Id Prayers place for the sake of Muslims' religious gathering and Invocation   Hadith (3) Narrated Um-`Atiya: We were ordered to go out (for `Id) and also to take along with us the menstruating women, mature girls and virgins staying in seclusion. (Ibn `Aun said, "Or mature virgins staying in seclusion)." The menstruating women could present themselves at the religious gathering and invocation of Muslims but should keep away from their Musalla.
       (Bukhari 2/97)

Hadith (4) Narrated Ibn `Abbas: I (in my boyhood) went out with the Prophet (S.A.W.) on the day of `Id ul Fitr or Id-ul-Adha. The Prophet prayed and then delivered the Khutba and then went towards the women, preached and advised them and ordered them to give alms. (Bukhari 2/92)

Hadith (5)  Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet said, "No good deeds done on other days are superior to those done on these (first ten days of Dhul Hijja)." Then some companions of the Prophet said, "Not even Jihad?" He replied, "Not even Jihad, except that of a man who does it by putting himself and his property in danger (for Allah's sake) and does not return with any of  those things." (Bukhari 2/86)

IDD MUBARAK TO ALL RESPECTED ELDERS AND BELOVED CHILDREN- Ya Allah accept from all of us our worship and good deeds and pardon us, forgive all our Sins, and grant us Jannat ul Firdous alongwith Prophet Mohammad Rasool Ullah Alaihi salat wa salaam.
