Looks like Quail Hill is having issues with overcrowding. This email was sent to all the AYSO coaches last week…
Just passing on the info.

Subject: Fw: Quail Hill Park and walk on adult field use
Please forward to your coaches.
Please note that we are having a continual problem with walk on adult soccer use at Quail Hill Park during the week around 5:30 to 7:00pm. We are trying to keep the adult groups from showing up but they continue to state that the youth coaches give them permission to use a side or corner of the field. We need your help in notifying your coaches to please inform the adult walk on’s that they have the entire soccer field area reserved and yes they need it for their practices so no they cannot share their space. It is unsafe too with balls rolling in all directions between adults and the kids.
Tonight we called out the police to assist with a group of men that would not leave after talking to the park ambassador and me. They brought in pop up goals and were having a game in deep right field of baseball field 1 which is near one of the soccer fields, with their field kicking towards the street and the backstop. They kept telling us that the youth coaches told them it was okay to share their field. The other issue is the lighted field space is not free to walk on groups and the field space the city has allocated to rental slots is already booked for this season which is from 9-10:15pm at night.
So please share this message with all coaches assigned to the lighted soccer fields at Quail Hill, University Park, Oak Creek and Las Lomas as these seem to be the places they prefer to drop into play with Quail Hill being the worst this season.
