Someone, don't know who, has called for a protest at the State Capitol tomorrow between 11am to 2 pm. Let's join them and build our movement. It is probably our friends Murry and Joshua.
Also, we decided on the steps of the Circle tonight, (friday), that we would visit our Senator's offices on Monday the 9th of September at 11AM. Congress is back in session on Monday morning in D.C..
Both Senator Joe Donnelly and Senator Dan Coats are located in the same building in Indianapolis at 10 West Market Street.
We will ask the office personnel in these offices how the Senators will vote on this war on Syria. If we do not get an answer right away, then we will wait for a message from the Senator's in their offices. We are asking for their decisions one way or the other. If we do not receive an answer on Monday, then we should be prepared to go back day after day to sit in their offices until we are answered. We will be polite, but firm that we want an answer as to how they will vote.
Some of our group can wait outside the building with placards; NO WAR ON SYRIA, and or head to the South side of the Circle for another rally there. We can decide the best strategy at that time.
We need to build our numbers now. If we are not able to prevent this war, then the same thing will happen after we invaded Iraq. Stopping a war is difficult, preventing a war is much easier, especially when the US public do not want a war.
Please try and attend these actions if at all possible. Thank you for those that are standing with us so far and let us keep up the pressure. For the first time in years, the main stream media are covering our actions. Please join us during this critical moment in world history.
Please forward to your various listserv's to help us build this movement. Together, we can stop this war.
