CormackMichelle is a prenatal expert, working with pregnant women since 1992 as a doula, labour assistant and childbirth educator. She has merged her expertise in pregnancy, birth and postpartum with her experience as a yoga teacher, informed by her teacher Shiva Rea’s Prana Flow yoga. She has been the owner and director of 5 Elements Yoga & Pilates studio for 8 years and has created the 5 Elements Vinyasa Flow Yoga Teacher Training (an RYT200 program) and has been training fitness instructors, yoga teachers, doctors, health-care & birth professionals and Pilates teachers for over 10 years. She has presented on Prenatal issues in various conferences and courses for many years, including Kripalu, and is a guest teacher at Shiva Rea’s Prenatal Yoga teacher trainings, as well as a mentor and assistant for Shiva in worldwide trainings and retreats. She co-wrote the Prenatal Thai Yoga Massage Manual with Kam Thye Chow (Lotus Palm School of Thai Yoga Massage). She is a published author in the book “Bearing Witness: Childbirth Stories Told By Doulasâ€. As a married mother of 5 daughters, she has been blessed with deep immersion in the Prana Shakti .

Featured in commercials, magazines and named the “National Yoga Ambassador†for YouthAIDS in 2005, Seane now utilizes her national platform to bring awareness to the HIV/AIDS crisis. Since 2007, she has been training leaders of activism through her co-founded organization Off the Mat, Into the World®. Seane has spent time in India, Cambodia and Africa working with prostitutes and street children, teaching yoga, providing support for child labor and educating people about HIV/AIDS prevention. She has been teaching yoga for over 15 years and facilitates a yoga teacher training program in Toronto. She has specialized in prenatal care and Co-owns Birth Yoga Studio and is the director of The Yoga Birth Method Institute. She is affiliated with CAPPA Canada (Childbirth and Postpartum Association) and ICEA (International Childbirth Education Association).
