Ansar Burney urges UN for the arrest of US Forces responsibles:

      July 1, 2002

KARACHI: The human and civil rights organisation 'Ansar Burney
Welfare Trust International' has strongly condemned the United
States aircraft's attack on a wedding party on a village of
Kakarak in Uruzgan province (Afghanistan) on Monday June 01,
killing more than 100 innocent human beings while dozens got
      serious injuries.

Kakarak is about 175 miles southwest of Kabul.

"According to reports, the attack began about 2 a.m. and lasted
for about three to four hours in which US Armed forces killed
more than 100 innocents including women and children and dozens
lost their body parts." Ansar Burney Chairman of the Trust said
      with sorrow and grief.

"In Kandahar, a 5/6 year-old girl was brought to the hospital
still wearing her party dress. She got injuries while all
members of her family were killed."

He said, another injured girl, a 7 year old Malika, lost her
father, mother, brother and sister, she was crying in the
      hospital for her dead parents.

An eye witness told 'Ansar Burney Welfare Trust' that there
had been an overnight air raid on a wedding party in which
most of the innocent women and children were killed.

Burney said according to the reports we are receiving from
Afghanistan, injured children are crying for their dead
      parrents and other family members.

Ansar Burney, Advocate has asked the United Nations to take
a serious note of this horrible crime committed by the United
States Armed Forces in which more than hundred innocents were
killed including women and children and dozens got serious
      injuries.

"Responsibles should brought to justice without any delay."
      Ansar Burney demanded.

      END.
