      Below is a link to additional information regarding the above bill which
      ISPLA has been monitoring since its introduction on May 13 and which is
      reflected in our "Priority Bill Watch" section at www.ISPLA.org . We
      reported on this bill, and other legislation, this week to various
      listservs. Three weeks ago ISPLA also alerted allied professional
      organizations with which we are presently working concerning HR 5300.

      The testimony of the above witnesses will no doubt be used in connection
      with several pending federal bills regarding the expungement of criminal
      records. ISPLA is meeting with the sponsor Rep. Bobby Scott [D-VA] to
      discuss some of the concerns of investigative and security professionals
      have with this proposed legislation.
