Computer forensics on domestics challenged
- A prominent attorney gave a CE course recently and advised many attorneys
who attended that the use of spyware and unauthorized computer data
retrieval was illegal and subject to criminal prosecution.
The criteria that established "not legal" was going into a computer, in a
residence, that is password protected. ANY computer. Computers in businesses
had their own parameters. When many of the attorneys heard this they opted
to stay away from computer work to avoid complications
As soon as I get any of the material relevant to the CE provided Ill post it
or put it on my site
This should be interesting
