      Dear members,

Polygraph is widely used in lie detection in the world. As the first institute engaged in Polygraph in Mainland China, I'd like to introduce the development situation of Polygraph in China.

In Chinese history, there was a method named ‘Wu Ting’, which was used in detecting truthfulness or deception of the suspect by observing and estimating his or her statements, breath, expression, hearing, and expressions in his/her eyes. At the end of the 19th century, Ceuare Lombroso, an Italian criminal law expert, used physiology testing technique in polygraph, and at the beginning of the 20th century, an American policeman named Keele manufactured and utilized the polygraph instrumente.

In China, Polygraph was started at the end of the 20th century. Nowadays, polygraph technique has been used widely in the police and the judicial departments. In Shandong Province, Polygraph has been used in over 50 percent police stations. However, Polygraph has not been used in the field of civil and commercial affairs, in which the domestic demand of Polygraph is actually increasing. Therefore, the market of nongovernmental polygraph service in China is big and its prospect is quite bright.

      Best regards,
