I don't know her either and wasn't aware she was involved in cyber
investigations. However, if her understanding of wiretapping laws is
indicative of her understanding of Internet related laws, then it's not
difficult to see why she would frequently be involved in disputes with those
who practice in that field.
Unless I misunderstood you, and you are simply referring to the "cyber
investigative community" as participation in Internet based investigative
If that's the case, then I would suppose the fact that she came in here with
guns blazing, and immediately launched into an unprovoked attack on a
long-standing member (whether she felt justified or not) and the group
moderator might explain her unpopularity, especially if she has a tendency
to do the same on other lists.
As I said though, I don't know her and can't speak of her past behavior.
