BALKAN EXPRESS NEXT STOP: SKOPJEThe next Balkan Express meeting will be held in Skopje, Macedonia, November 3 6.
Organised on the occasion and in partnership with the Balkan Dance Platform, this IETM Satellite meeting will have a special focus on contemporary dance in the Balkans.

Balkan Express is a large and diverse network of organizations and individuals interested in cooperation with and within the Balkan region. It is a cooperation platform constantly adapting and responding to the needs of cultural operators by providing opportunities for exchange and debate, as well as various tools for cooperation. BE's activities are focusing on conferences, meetings, professional visits, trainings, publications, work placements, information exchange, etc. More info is available on www.ietm.org
Balkan Dance Platform (BDP) is regional-Balkan, biannual, nomadic contemporary dance event. The third edition of the BDP will take place in Skopje, Macedonia in November 2005 in organization of the NGO Lokomotiva Centre for New Initiatives in Arts and Culture www.lokomotiva.org.mk . The main focus of the third Balkan Dance Platform 2005 is to present and promote fresh concepts, new artistic ideas and initiatives in contemporary dance in the Balkan region. The third BDP 2005 aims to encourage talented and innovative individuals and groups to present their concepts preserving their originality and creativity.
