The program, as the three-year young Buddhist capacity building program (2004-2006) for INEB members, is developed so as to promote leadership for spiritual resurgence, respect to other faiths as well as social innovation among your people of the Buddhist communities in south and southeast Asia.
The program consists of inputs for understanding modern context of Asia, social analysis, understanding of other faiths, Buddhist teachings that relevant to personal and social development, exposure visit, forest walk to understand ecological system, silent retreat for peace leadership, and training of practical skill for social works.
We open for application from Buddhists from any traditions, female or male, ordained or laity, age between 20 � 35, from South or Southeast Asian countries and having serious interest in radically improving life as well as contributing extensively to society. Young activists who are not from INEB member organizations are also welcome to apply.
Scholarship is available for those who are accepted. Scholarship includes tuition fee, meals, lodging, exposure visit and international (economical) traveling expenses.Application is open until 31 March 2005 and acceptance is confirmed by 20 April 2005.
