      1. What is this eGroup all about ?

(Leaving the eGroups is equally easy, send a blank email to the address indica-users-unsubscribe@egroups.com )

      2. Through the Web:Register yourself at http://www.egroups.com/ . You will get a activation code emailed to you. Go back and activate your registration at the site using this activation code (you will need to do this only once, the first time). Then follow instructions for joining the Indica Users eGroup (http://www.egroups.com/group/indica-users)

      2. How do I contact Telco regarding my car ?

Emailing to this eGroup doesnt necessarily ensure that your email gets read by the people at Telco unless a relevant Telco employee is also a subscriber to this eGroup (some are). To be sure you are heard (or read), write directly to the following addresses (updated as of Jan 4, 2001):
      North
      V Gangrade
      vg@...
      South
      Sreeraman
      sree@...
      East
      S.K.Ghosh
      sg@...
      West
      Vijay Machale
      vrm@... vijaymachale@...

      3. Can I read posted messages without joining the eGroup?

Sure. Just go to http://www.egroups.com/group/indica-users. But joining gives you other advantages, like being able to upload files (upto 20 MB), setting up a service calendar for your car etc.

      4. I want to know about the good and bad aspects of the car in order to make a informed purchasing decision. Where can I get this information ?

We have begun a policy of placing all positive comments in the folder http://www.egroups.com/files/indica-users/Positive_Comments_on_Indica and all negative comments in the folder http://www.egroups.com/files/indica-users/Negative_Comments_on_Indica . Naturally, it will take some times before files are actually placed here. Till then, you will have to read past emails posted in the archives.

      5. Is this eGroup influenced / controlled by TELCO ? Do negative comments ever make it here ?

TELCOdoes not control this eGroup. To their credit, however, they are open-minded enough to actually encourage the use of this eGroup because they get useful customer feedback first-hand.

This eGroup was started by a Indica User - Dr.Subrat Kar, IITDelhi - because he wanted his own questions answered. Today, the eGroups effectively belongs to its members because there are no restrictions or charges on membership.

Anybody is welcome to join and say whatever he/she likes about the Indica.
