Sorry for the confusion of putting the song title in the subject. So the basic beat is 4/4 but the notes are almost syncopated; not swing, more irregular.

Yes it is just a straight 4/4, but the bass doesn't play during the verse section (just drums and vocals).  Bill just comes in on the chorus :) Just a
