What I believe is you are trying to allow for 100-125

      acl example src
      192.9.200.100/255.255.255.255-192.9.200.125/255.255.255.255
      http_access access example
      http_access deny all

Check with the Netmask I have wagely given
      255.255.255.255

      ----------------
Even though it is slightly off the track what I would
suggest you is to always try to use Private IP's like
      in your local network.

sorry to bother u, but please tell me where i can get a good documentation
        for squid.

        thanks.

I have not used user authentication but I believe you
need to have some external program written for
authorising users with the command proxy_auth.

For the document I generally follow HOWTO's only.

          Regards,
