Note to all that a more detailed informational flyer is on Facebook under Lebanon's Art Festival Facebook page, but thought might like to have larger photo for each workshop too so made a new flyer also for workshops.  Note that Bonnie Cox is teaching Embroidery Art on a Gourd and will have awls for sale for $10.00. Bonnie has another design too on Facebook.  She asks students to bring scissors.
Kathy Travis has more photos too for her Doodle Art she is doing on Facebook Page.  She also is selling the pens and asks students to bring pens Faber Castell Pitt Pen Set with small, fine, medium tips and brush to class.   Her pens she is selling are $18.00 and has a book for $10.  Both Bonnie's and Kathy's classes are 1 to 3 p.m. on Sat and Sunday 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.  Bonnie is taking 8 to 10 students and charging $40 and Kathy is taking 8 to 10 students and charging $40.  Both classes take all skill levels.

Lynn and Pat Slack, Buffalo Track Gourds will be teaching a wood burning usable gourd serving bowl project .  Their class starts at 10 a.m. and they are taking 15 students on Sunday, June 25.

Paul and I will be teaching a primitive beginner's wood burning class using a 950 degree wood burning pen with the wedge tip both days at 11 a.m.  We are taking 8 students each day.  We will let the students wood burn a flower on a gourd and decide if want the gourd to be a birdhouse or decorative item.  All supplies are furnished.

Please see flyer attached.  Thanks and please spread the word about the gourd workshops.  There will be other fine artists too at the show at Horner Park 111109 Widicus Road in Lebanon, IL from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.  Also weaving workshops and a raffle plus food.  Also note having a craft show at high school where also might have some gourd folks.  Times are the same.  So, both ends of town.  Classes are at Horner Park though which is off of Monroe Street.

Students may register with instructors or call promoter Sue Knepper at 618-53-8428 or email sueknep@... or may contact me at 618-822-6959 if wish too as helping some.

Thanks, hope to see you all at the show.  Wilsons Gourds, Karen and hubby Paul, wilsonsgourds@...
