- Feb 27, 2010About three messages went out to everyone. It now seems to have stopped with me...I hope! I stayed up till 1:30 AM cleaning everything on my computer I could think of. Just makes me sick as I just bought this computer about 3 months ago with all the security bells and whisles...but, it happens. Let me know if anyone gets anymore. Mine started with about 24 Spam messages that did get caught and about 5 that didn't. I thought it was someone else's computer at first. But my best guess is that it originated on facebook when I put in for a free pair of Ugh's and started a survey to get the Ugh's. It was bogus and a virus, so be very careful with ANY Apps you get involved in on facebook! So sorry for the inconvenience and please know that I did not send the bogus emails. Delete them without opening any messages that are from my email and have a strange name in the subject line!Bonnie Adams

Date: Friday, February 26, 2010, 9:22 PMI think someone has taken Bonnie Adams email address and is spamming this group - I just received 3 emails supposedly from Bonnie and all are for pharmaceuticals.
I've just changed the format so that I have to see every email before it is forwarded to members so that we're not cluttering your inbox with unwanted 'stuff.'
Bonnie A., I don't know where or how this happened. Hope this is the only group they're using. Let me know if there is anything I can do.
