Vijay in Three Idiots remake
April 13, 2010The Hindi film Three Idiots which had Madhavan, Ameer Khan and Salman Joshi in the cast was a super hit film. Gemini Film Circuit has acquired the remake rights of this film to be remade in Tamil.
Vijay is doing the lead role while Jeeva is another hero of the film. The third hero has not been finalized so far. In the Hindi version Kareena Kapoor did the female lead role.
Talks are going on with Kamal’s daughter Shruthi to do this role. Earlier Katrina Kaif was approached but she declined this offer due to call sheet problems. After this Shruthi was approached and there is news that she had agreed to do the role.
There is a big speculation that who will be directing this film. Vishnuvardhan seems is interested in directing this film but the production house is reluctant. They are in search of a big director.
