Ameer believes in breaking jinxes and he has done so in every film of his, beginning with Mounam Paesiyadhae and Raam, till his most recent success Paruthi Veeran. The director is currently busy with his upcoming flick Adhibagavan, starring Jayam Ravi. Meanwhile, the filmmaker has expressed his strong desire to do a film with Vijay.

Speaking at a film function recently, Ameer said that after Mounam Paesiyadhae, he had approached Vijay with a story line, but the project did not take off. Reportedly Vijay's father has approved of a new project so it looks like the director's dream will soon come true.
