Serving the Palatine Community since 1960 ***January 18, 2011TV star brings fundraiser ideaTom Brunzelle, co-owner of Naperville Jewelry and Loan, and a long-time friend of Ross Ketelboeter, talked about how he got into his business and the services he performs. The shop can lend cash instantly and buy many items of value like gold and silver (jewelry or otherwise), gold coins, silver coins, diamonds, rings, watches, musical instruments, laptops, digital cameras, and high-end electronics. There are no credit checks, or background checks, because they work with the customer to lend money on their own collateral. Tom and his associates appear regularly on the TLC show Pawn Queens. Theirs is the first pawn shop ever in Naperville , and is very popular with residents throughout the Chicago area. Tom brought with him his associate Ashley and his idea for “Gold Parties,” a fundraising scheme that allows for people to sell their unwanted gold and silver for an excellent price, while also providing a profit for the shop and the organization. Tom believes in honesty in dealing with the public, and demonstrated how standard gold-buying shops reap hefty profits by bilking the public out of actual value for their precious metals. The club discussed the concept, and it has much merit as a way to have fun and make some money in the process. Follow this link to check out the website of Tom’s shop at www.naperloan.com.
