      If you can remove the rear panel and take a look
      at the pto, see if the rod pulls the arm on the pto
      all the way into the detent. you'll feel it "snap"
      into place. if it doesn't reach in (do this with the
      tractor "OFF", ONLY)and try to rotate the arm a little
      more in the direction it was being moved by the rod.
      If it "snaps" into place you'll probably need to
      look at the position and travel of the rod. You might
      not be pulling that rod hard enough to get the little
      roto-cam balls into the detents. if you ever take the pto
      assembly out this all becomes pretty clear. maybe this
      will help - hope it doesn't confuse.<br>regards, barry
