- Jerry,If you are installing a front mount No. 50 snow thrower, you shouldn't need to remove the 3-Point. As far as the selector valve for switching the hydraulics between 3-Point and the belly lift, the best I can tell the pulling the knob up will route the hydraulics to the top output port. If I recall correctly the valve will have a "snapring" below the valve knob. If the snapring is against the valve body, of course you will have to pull up.I have a No. 50 thrower mounted on my 184.
