    Hello All, Has anyone converted the generator over to an alternator? I know I will need a starter as well. What wiring mods need to be done? thanks Bob in Vt.

      Bob,I have done this before on a 154 and it is certainly worth the effort and expense,it is covered very well in the old messages.Find a starter before you buy

        effort and expense,it is covered very well in the old messages.Find a
        starter before you buy anything else as they are getting scarce,You
        can use a #107327 or 109352 12 volt Delco starter,they were used on
        184's and late model cubs and the earlier,un-numbered lo-boys.
        Some have used the older 6v starters,but you have to modify them,you
        can find a 12v if you spend the time,good luck.....Mike.
