      Jerusalem-Hebron Youth Interfaith Encounter group

      September 27th, 2012

We gathered in Damascus Gate at 6:30pm and went to the café of the nearby Jerusalem Hotel.

At 7pm we started by introducing ourselves – we were 6 people from the Palestinian side and 4 Jewish people. The theme of the encounter was the Day of Judgment and how the human soul leaves the body and returns in the morning.

I, Moatasem, began by introducing the theme from the Muslim perspective, after which we talked together the whole group on the theme. Then Itamar presented the Jewish perspective and again we continued our conversation until 10pm . At 10:15 we concluded the circle.

      Reported: Moatasem
