The "Yesteryears" Column, 75 Years Ago, June 20, 1933.

Indian Valley Women's Club have started a movement to promote the much
discussed road from Mesa to Emmett by way of Indian Valley. They have
a petition drawn and are out getting signers.

The officers of this state have been very lenient so far with the
public relative to non-residents registering their cars within 48 hours
after entering the state. Signs are posted at the entrance of every
road into the state warning every non-resident to register. From now
on each officer will have the right to insist that non-residents
entering the state register their foreign vehicles within 48 hours or
pay the regular license fee the same as a resident of Idaho.
