Re: [icons-rpg] "Less" Super Campaign?
- I think a new power source table and number of powers table might be able to adjust this for your players. For instance, the power source table might be limited to Trained, Gimmick, and Birthright. Instead of 2D6, roll 1D6 (or 1D3).You might limit the number of powers--or maybe not; maybe the power source might effectively do it for you.Or, you could arbitrarily decide some origin but that they still get to use the power source table. For instance, you might just say, "Hey, you guys are all aliens, but roll on the source table to see where your powers come from."John McMullen (Searching for a .sig)

I haven't... my main modification has been to give players a power source table to roll or pick on as well. Limiting their powers down to the ones that mesh with the world. One way you could potentially tone things down to be more Batman-ish is to just shift most powers fro being innate to being devices. This way it isn't all empowered people but just guys with gimmicky gadgets that they manage to get from 'somewhere'.On Wed, Jun 5, 2013 at 10:48 PM, Jack <jacksawyer2@...> wrote:Anyone play a less super campaign? One or two powers, not too high Invulnerability, etc.
