He's in his late forties and had been thinking of adding a few more aspects but figure this might be going too far.
In essence these would be;
In-Laws: His teammate Weaponmaster is also his ex-father-in-law something he kept hidden from his older teammate due to the fact he was more concerned that his ex-wife had a child with his nemesis and fears what she would do if she ever found out her nemesis is her older half sister.
His own Family: Has an older brother and sister one of whom believes he was killed with their father however his brother knows he survived and deliberately stole his inheritance. His daughter recently worked for his older brother's company and escaped detection since Jared (his brother) apparently thinks Joshua died in the incident where he was left permanently invisible.
Power Update: His invisibility doesn't work on blood relations so his daughter can see him perfectly fine and due to their familial bond has used her danger sense ability to sense his presence even to the point of being able to tell when he's lying or when upset whenever he's close by.
He recently spied on his older brother and discovered Jared cannot see him leaving him wondering whether either of his older siblings are actually blood relations and if not, why not?

Maybe he'll do anything to help an old friend or associate from his villain days - including abandon a caper or fight in progress. Something that would have a good chance of actually coming up during the game.

I'm still quite new to Icons and had a try at developing this and his daughter on the gallant knight enterprises site albeit changing the backdrop a few times in an attemopt to get the group I play rpg's with to run an Icons game.
So far only one has expressed an interest in a regular supers game whilst another likes a post apocalyptic idea I was thinking about.
The injury idea is something I wondered about but that was mostly involving his invisibility problem which initially was intended to make him undetectable by technology, magic and psionics but after the misunderstanding i had with power nullification and absorption I went back to doublecheck which is why i ended up rolling his stats instead.
The original character had the absorption power which made him much more dangerous and his telekinesis was ramped up too however the aspects side still escapes me.
Now instead of being able to match superman and green lantern he's reputation is due to the fact he uses his powers to distract and subdue opponents I just hope it doesn't lead to his opponents having to resort to detect invisibility when technically only his daughter actually knows he was left permanently invisible.
