I have been thinking about this (see my post earlier this weekend). I don't have a definitive answer, but these are the things I've been thinking about:

Up to about stats of 24, a simple (stat/4) should work for stats. Prowess would really be offensive capability, co-ordination would really be defense: those are the functions they have in ICONS.

After that--after human exemplary--it gets fuzzy. M&M characters can go up to theoretically forever, while ICONS characters top out at 10. But, let's say the maximum is lifting a mountain (Hulk at his very peak--I know it wasn't a whole mountain in Secret Wars I, but it was close). Call it about Strength 40 or 45. Up there, anyway. (I'm indebted to this (http://mmconversions.wikidot.com/strength-benchmarks) and conversion from M&M3E is easy: it's 2*str and add 10.)

I'm at work, so I can't look it up and do it for you, but if you compare those values against the weights listed for the benchmarks in ICONS, you'll get something. Then tweak to your taste and impressions of the characters--and you'll have a conversion system.

Powers reflect a single designer's mind at work, so they should convert fairly easily.

I was at a local used bookstore and they had several 2nd ed versions of M&M character books. I would love to know the easy way to convert the characters over. There are several concepts my kids would like to play that I have toyed with creating but borrowing is almost always faster! :-)

      Thanks in advance
