I am running a serial to usb to my computer and it works fine with Ham Radio Deluxe. The serial port on the R-75 works fine with almost everything. JimT

Les, Yes, There is a "Record Out" jack on the back panel (NOT talking about the record activate jack that makes a DC contact). That will feed the line level

If an early model &75, check to see if AM-S selected. Turn to AM regular. Also if purchased used, the previous owner may have done modes to install the AM-S

The electrolytic capacitors in -5V DC-DC converter circuit tend to dry-out and can cause that symptom. I had it on my R-75, and replacing them solved it. Brett

My R75 receiver has started having a loud whistle for a minute or so after being switched on. Does anyone have an idea what is at fault. Thank you. Richard
