  • Re: Youtube account for posting Hum videos

Hi, Steve, thanks for the videos. I watched all of them and in both with and without Hum I can hear some kind of short bursts of static, Brownian type of noise

I put 4 videos on YouTube. In darkness and with and without the Hum. I tried putting it on the Hum channel but instead it's a new channel and under my name.

Group Description

This forum is devoted to discussion of the "Hum," a worldwide phenomenon. The "Hum" is a mysterious noise heard by 1 to 10 percent of the population in certain areas, including North America, Europe, Great Britain, Australia, and New Zealand. The Hum is an anomalous sound whose source has yet to be traced. It is not an ordinary environmental low-frequency noise. The classic hum sound is comparable to the sound of a distant diesel engine idling. There have been extensive reports of the Hum in the United Kingdom since at least the early 1970s. The two best-publicized areas in the United States that have been plagued by the Hum are Taos, New Mexico, and Kokomo, Indiana. The most recent occurrence of the Hum has been in Windsor, Ontario.

The World Hum Database and Mapping Project can be found here: www.thehum.info

The orientation of this forum is scientific and factual. Discussion of the paranormal and supernatural hypotheses is not allowed. Kooks are not welcome.

Professor Deming's 2004 review paper on the Hum can now be downloaded as a .pdf file from the "Files" area. This is the only comprehensive and authoritative reference on the Hum that exists. It is an essential introduction for anyone that is interested in this phenomenon.
