EPA is conducting its final Webinar of the year on the use of its online Target Finder tool to set and rate the intended energy use of commercial design projects. The Webinar will take place on Thursday, Dec. 17, and AIA members can earn Year-End AIA Learning Units (HSW + SD) or CEU by participating.

Register today!  Responding to the Climate Change Imperative, Setting Energy Use Targets with ENERGY STAR®  1 HSW and 1 SD AIA Learning Unit

      Date:  December 17, 2009 at 2 p.m. EST

Join the no-cost Web conference and earn end-of-year AIA learning units for Health Safety & Welfare (HSW) and Sustainable Design (SD).

Also, find out how the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) online Target Finder tool can help you determine if your projects meet 2030 fossil fuel energy reduction goals.  Target Finder provides whole-building energy use targets, rates the relative efficiency of the intended energy use for commercial building design projects, and indicates if designs could ultimately qualify for ENERGY STAR.

The EPA energy target ratings are supported by the U.S. Conference of Mayors, AIA, ASHRAE, USGBC, the Architecture 2030, and many state and local governments.
