Nissan Zero Emissions Land Cruiser-Green Car or Green Motorcycle?
- Recently the New Nissan Land Cruiser zero emissions ( electric ) experimental vehicle was unveiled to the media at the companies technical design center in Atsugi, Japan.
The vehicle is small in that it measures only 110 centimeters ( 43 inches) in width but what makes it different from other Nissan greencar offerings is its cornering ability. This zero emission concept vehicle has a very unique handling system whereby the wheels and under chassis are independent from the vehicle's passenger cabin. This allows the vehicle to corner more like a motorcycle than a car in that it is able to tilt into a corner by as much as 17 degrees. In order to manage this feat of engineering ,Nissan has built a sophisticated ride handling system into the vehicle using on-board sensors to calculate vehicle speed and the amount of "lean" required for cornering
