      ************ ********* *

I just read an interesting article in the Texas Observer about the Twitter social networking site. It talks about the fact that Governor Rick Perry tweets a lot. He has been know to reply directly to messages he receives.

I am not a tweeter myself but those of you who are should send a tweet to the twit, I mean the Governor. He is quite obsessed by the stuff so he needs to be tweeted, or whatever.

Texas came very close to having a strong solar incentive bill pass in
the last legislative session. It was attached to a related bill that
had already passed the House, was passed in the Senate, but was
killed by a procedural objection by one Houston state representative
in the crush at the end of the session.

Please contact Governor Perry's office at (800) 252-9600 or http://
governor.state. tx.us/contact/ and ask that he include reconsideration
of Senator Fraser's solar incentive bill in the call for a special
      session.

We have this one last shot at getting a great solar bill passed
before it's back to waiting two years for the next session.

If you live outside the Austin area, your request will have added
      weight.

Please call or email Governor Perry.

      Thank you.
