      We have several customers that are sensitive to UV, and we use UV blocking clear polycarbonate sleeves for fluorescent tubes. These are special sleeves that fit over fluorescent tubes.  Will check on covers for CFLs, the covered CFL with plastic envelopes will typically block most of the UV.  Will ck with my engineer.
