Anemometer with computer interface capabilities
- I'm looking to do some wind studies on some land we own out in West Texas as well as at my home in Houston. Does anyone know where I can find an anemometer which I can plug into my computer to record data?
I've seen a couple on the web that give displays but I would like to be able to capture and store the data so I can go back and review it at a later time. Anemometer with software would be even better!
If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.
- Daniel,The HOBO loggers are very convenient for hobbyists, www.onset.com.You have to get the following:1) anometer ~$250 for wind speed (add another $250 for wind direction).2) logger interface ~$2503) misc. cords and adaptersOr, you can check out other people's weather stations in your area and get the same information for free.Regards,Chris Boyer
