Re: [hreg] 2009 HREG Meetings, Elections & Business Members
- These were Ariel's directions:
For more detailed driving directions, the venue is about 85 miles from downtown Houston:
- take IH 10 and stay on it until about 2-3 miles West of Columbus.
- check your odometer, and turn right (North) on highway 71.
- go just under 7 miles, look to the right, and drop your jaw.
You can easily see solar panels and the grass roof from highway 71 if you are looking to the right.

Our website has been updated with HREG meeting dates and locations for
2009. Invite your friends!
Also, our business members list has been updated with more names and
information than ever! This is a great resource for you or those who
ask you "Where can I buy a solar panel?" or "Who installs wind turbines?"
Click on "How can I go solar" and then "Contact HREG Business Members".
We will get off to a great start this year with our meeting (in
Columbus) on Jan. 25th and the Solar Social on Jan. 29th. At our
meeting on the 25th we will have annual officer elections, so if you
are interested in running for one of the elected positions below,
please let me or another officer know.
Current HREG Officers:
President - Mike Ewert
Vice President/Technical - Chris Boyer
Vice President/Outreach - Ed Wanat
Secretary/Treasurer - Joyce Lattimore
(appointed) Rep. to TXSES - John Gardner
One last thing. Spread the word among your friends, family and
elected officials about the new ASES report on Green Jobs:
