Here are my opinions.
Atmospheric conditions generally determine if contrails disperse quickly, linger, or spread.
All fuels have additives. The specifications are quite detailed and I believe that they are generally available for public review.
That contrails generally affect the atmosphere was shown after 9-11.

Is there a sinister government plot to expose us to harmeful chemicals? - very unlikely.
Will we possibly be affected by some unintended consequences of some seemingly harmless additives? - we have in the past.
Is there an effort by individuals to sell books and related fear issues - yes.
Do they mean well - probably.
Are they well informed - sometimes.

Did everyone not receive the last subject matter I posted or was it
not accepted by webmaster? It pertained to questions of chem trails
instead of con trails by aircraft. This IS a little scary to even
think that it might be happening. I do not want to seem like "Chicken

everything below the Ionosphere. If anyone was up at dawn this morning
there was a perfect example across the morning sky - a perfect grid of
trails that turned into hazy white clouds as they drifted eastward and
settled into the lower atmosphere. As we know there ARE contrails that
are just that, condensation trails that quickly disperse and
evaporate. So what ARE these trails that do NOT disperse and make the
sky hazy? Like I have said I do not want to seem like a weirdo but it
seems as though there is some credence to this claim. Weather control?
That would affect all that we do here including wind and solar
production. Do some Googling on your own and let us know if there's
anything goofy about this? Bill
