- To support renewable energy, please call your Texas State Representative ASAP and ask him to vote for SB 483, and also the amendments to SB 483 by Christian, Strama & Colemen. SB 483, the "The TXU bill" has passed the Senate and is now being considered by the house. SB 483 would limit the size of utility companies in Texas and thus stop TXU's planned Oak Grove coal plant. Details below and attached.
