To me it seems that the grass roots movement for clean energy is gaining
momentum. The solution comes up every morning and it makes sense from a lot
      of different viewpoints.

Subject: PSR Releases Air Pollution/Climate Change/Energy Solutions
      Report in Texas

Physicians for Social Responsibility is pleased to announce and to invite
you to the release of Degrees of Danger: How Smarter Energy Choices Can
Protect the Health of Texans. Degrees of Danger is a state-specific series
examining the public health impacts of climate change, air pollution, and
fossil fuels. The Texas report also highlights Texas' vast, but fairly
untapped, potential to be a national leader in renewable energy production

PSR will hold press events on June 17 in Houston, June 18 in Austin, and
June 19 on San Antonio with the help of Dr. Fernando Guerra, Director of
Health for the San Antonio Metropolitan Health District, Dr. Martin Lorin of
Texas ChildrenÂ’s Hospital, Dr. Stuart Abramson, Assistant Professor of
Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine, and State Representative Miguel
      Wise.

An embargoed copy of the report is attached and copies of the full report
will be available at www.psr.org on June 17. A general state media advisory
and three city-specific advisories are also attached for more details.
Please help PSR highlight Degrees of Danger and the press events by
circulating the advisory to your local contacts.

Please contact me with any suggestions, questions, or requests for copies of
      the report.

Hope to see you at the events.

      Sincerely,
      Alicia Johnson
