How will Texas be impacted by global warming?
Texas emits more greenhouse gas emissions than any other state in the
country and if Texas were it's own country, we would rank 7th in the world
for greenhouse gas emissions.
Scientists believe that Texas could see major impacts from global warming
including coastal losses, more extreme and a higher frequency of droughts
and storms, hotter weather, less water and agricultural disruptions.
Fortunately, there are solutions that can positively impact the Texas
economy and the health of all Texans.
