IKEA buys a wind farm!
- Folks,Well, IKEA does it again with their commitment to renewable energy. First they install roof-mount solar energy systems on all their U.S. stores. Then they install EV charging stations at these same stores. Then they launched a solar energy system kit along with installation services in England. Now, they have made their first wind farm investment in the U.S. -- specifically the 98 megawatt Hoopestown Wind Project in Illinois. It's IKEA's largest single renewable energy investment globally made to date.
