      Philip,
I'm not sure if they have exactly what you are looking for, but I would check these 2 renewable energy analysis programs. The first is free; the second is sold.

Subject: [hreg] Net Metering and Time of Use Software Modeling

Doing some modeling for Net Metering and Time of Use.

The goal is to show hour-by-hour comparisons of an all electric house (typical electric water heater, heat, air conditioning, cooking, etc.) as a baseline house, and then add various sized PV, solar water heat, etc., so as to compare Net Metering Flows, and hour-by-hour use for Time of Use Metering.

While the production side is very easy to model -- Solar PV and Hot Water production is a very well known and accepted model set, the hour-by-hour modeling for the "typical" house does not seem to be so. At least I have not found it, yet.

Anyone have any good tips for Who, What, Where to search or ask for such a use model? The ideal would a year around (so it would shift by season), hour-by-hour generic model.

      Thanks!
